Stitch conversion and abbreviations

Here, I have put together to helpful tables for you.

The first is a conversion chart (which includes the abbreviations) showing stitch types from the UK,USA and the old vintage style.

The second contains helpful abbreviations you might stumble across in written patterns.

Useful tip- when looking at free patterns or any pattern where it doesn't tell you which type of crochet terms to use (UK,USA or vintage), read through the pattern. If you see a SC or single stitch, it's written in US terms, if you see a HDC or half double crochet it written in Uk terms.
